BEHIND THE LENS AND BEYOND: DISCOVER MY STORY AND PASSION
HELLO, I'M VICTORIA, YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER!
Born in Montreal and raised in the heart of Ottawa, I have a deep appreciation for both French and English cultures, as well as a genuine love for my Congolese roots. In 2016, I graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor's degree in International Management. I've also pursued my passion for project management by earning a master's degree in the field and becoming a certified PMP (Project Management Professional).
During the day, I'm dedicated to my work as a public servant, working as a Senior Policy Analyst and Project Manager. But outside of the office, I'm all about managing and creating for my two ventures: Victorious Caps Streetwear (est. 2017) and Victorious Moments Photography (est. 2019). My unwavering faith in God is the driving force behind everything I do, infusing purpose and meaning into every aspect of my life.
Apart from photography, I love to travel. Some of my favourite international destinations include Portugal, France and Switzerland to visit my family and soak up the diverse cultures and experiences it offers. I am also a fan of road trips and spending weekends away from Ottawa!
When it comes to editing those captivating moments captured through photography, I find comfort in binge-watching shows. From classics like Scandal, Grey's Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives to Netflix favourites like Sweet Magnolia and Ginny & Georgia and Virgin River.
I really love the look of natural light lifestyle photography and portraits, but I thrive on new challenges and welcome the opportunity to work on exciting projects. With a combination of experience and unwavering passion, I'm here to bring your vision to life through the lens, creating enduring memories you'll cherish.
