A Moment Just for You 🌸

Every year, I look forward to these sessions—not just because they’re beautiful (they are), but because they give us a chance to pause and reflect on the roles that often go unseen.

I still remember the very first Mommy & Me Minis I offered back in 2023 at Quay Studio. It was a quiet little idea that had been sitting on my heart — a way to offer mothers something simple, meaningful, and timeless. No over-the-top setups. No fuss. Just love, light, and a reminder that you deserve to be seen in the story you’re building.

In 2024, I chose to hold these minis at Studio 20/20 for its versatility. With nearly a dozen styled sets in one beautifully lit space, moms could select the backdrop that felt most like them. The spring florals cascading from the ceiling were the standout feature — a dreamy, delicate touch that brought the entire set to life. That year affirmed what I had started to feel all along: these sessions aren’t just about spring photos. They’re about something a lot more meaningful and special.

Whether you’re a mom of three, expecting your first, a godmother, auntie, grandmother, or the person holding it all together—these sessions are about honoring you.

The theme

This year’s theme is Blooming—a visual and spiritual nod to the journey of womanhood and motherhood. The growth, the strength, the soft unfolding of a life rooted in love. For many of us, that also means blooming in Christ—becoming more of who we were created to be, even when the world doesn't always see it.

The vision

Each year, my goal is to design a set that feels both timeless and deeply feminine. Think gentle florals, soft textures, clean backdrops, and natural movement. This year, I’ve designed a soft, light-filled set in blush, ivory, beige, and soft green — tones that feel airy, feminine, and peaceful. Nothing overwhelming. Just enough to reflect the quiet beauty of the theme. Think: flowy dresses, floral patterns, pastel colours, bows and lace for you and your little ones.

These sessions will be held at Skye Studio, Afterglow’s newly renovated space. The new makeover is exactly what these minis needed. Graceful arches. Tiered platforms. A marble-framed wall. Natural light flooding through. It’s modern, clean, and beautifully versatile — a canvas where your story can unfold naturally.

Here are a few mockups to help you visualize what the set I will be putting together will look like — but trust me, it will be even better in person.

Who these sessions are for

While the name might say “Mommy & Me,” these sessions are for:

  • Moms with babies, toddlers, teens or adult children
  • Expecting mothers (yes, this works beautifully for maternity!)
  • Godmothers, aunties, grandmothers — women who show up and pour love every day
  • Fathers who want to be part of the moment

If your child hasn’t worked with me before, this is also the perfect “warm-up” to get them used to being photographed — with a full family session this summer or a Christmas Mini later in the year as a next step.

What to expect

Every year, I try to create more than just pretty photos. I want to build spaces where your story — your motherhood, your growth, your tenderness — can breathe. These sessions are about honoring the love that often happens behind the scenes. About stepping into the frame, not just for your family, but for you. You don’t need to “perform” in these sessions. You just need to show up as you are — with your child, your baby bump, your mom, or your chosen family — and let me take care of the rest.

Before your session, you’ll receive a simple posing and prep guide to help you feel confident and ready. But once you’re in front of the lens, the focus shifts to what matters most: real connection, soft moments, and candid interactions that reflect your bond. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but the magic always comes from simply being present.

Ready to book?

I’ve created a dedicated booking page with everything you need to know: session times, pricing, what’s included, and answers to common questions. I want you to feel fully informed before you step in front of the camera. — Spots are limited and tend to go quickly, so if you’ve been thinking about doing this, now’s a great time to make it happen.
